Cindy Stelmackowich works within the boundaries between art and science, exploring the materiality of the body through experimental sculpture, installations, and digital collage. Most recently, her artwork addresses the body in relation to the “plastic crisis” the world is in.

Stelmackowich has exhibited her artwork in solo and group exhibitions across many cities in Canada, the United States (Los Angeles and New York) and in Europe. Her artworks are in the collection of the Canada Council Art Bank, the Ottawa Art Gallery, York University, as well as corporate and private collections.
