Heidi Conrod joins together painting and photography, abstraction and representation, in intuitive and improvisational ways. Varying from series to series, her work explores the nature of direct visual experience, one that involves infinite movement and thought.

She received her BFA and MFA from the University of Ottawa. Her work has been exhibited in galleries across Canada and the United States and is part of numerous private and public art collections.
