IMPACT – The Enriched Bread Artists (EBA) is Ottawa’s largest non-profit artist-run cooperative. Housed in its historic Gladstone Avenue location, the former Standard Bread Company building, EBA has brought contemporary art activity to a local, national, and international audience throughout its 26 years.
IMPACT – With 22 active artists occupying our two floors, critical research and artistic exploration develops in each artist’s studio. Our annual event offers an opportunity for the community to engage directly with our members and to discuss their art practice, take part in presentations, or to simply enjoy the creative environment of the EBA and its 1920’s era building.
IMPACT – As we move forward our website will soon be revamped and will feature a new ongoing archive that will highlight our achievements and the scope of our activities from the past 26 years. EBA has a longstanding history of dedication to the visual arts of which it would not be possible without the resiliency of its artists from over the years and the continued support from the people of Ottawa. We invite everyone to join us and to be inspired with us during or 26th Annual Open Studio.

editions, mixed media prints, large unique single images, with or without a press, as well as new takes on traditional methods. Panelists will discuss their artistic practices in relation to these innovations.
