David leaves behind an extraordinary visual record spanning more than half a century…and a community of grateful students and fellow visual artists.
The connection between David Barbour and Ottawa’s Enriched Bread Artists (EBA) collective is rooted in a decades-long relationship where David served as both an artistic member (2005) and the primary documentary photographer for the organization and many of its members.

Valerie has organized Saturday, September 26th at 1:00 p.m. for David’s Celebration of Life at Glebe St. James United Church, 650 Lyon St. South in Ottawa. She chose this place because she and David were married there 27 years ago, and all are welcome.
